Back To The Gym
It has been about a year now since I started going to the gym working out as well just trying to be an active person by going out for walks/jogs as well as playing soccer.
I can’t say that I am satisfied with the result as a year is a long time and a person should be able to see lots of benefits from working out and staying active if and only if that person is working out the right away, eating healthy as well as sleeping enough.
Here is where I am having trouble as I have been working out the wrong way for a long time and not until I started reading online about how to workout right as well as using the iMuslce 2 which is an app from the iPhone that lets you select a specific part of muscle you want to workout then the app will display many workouts that target that muscle you have selected. I highly recommend this app to anyone working out because you will the difference right away.
And now comes the food, before I wasn’t eating healthy at all, eating from fast food restaurant every day which didn’t help with what I have been able to do by going to the gym. I got a solution to this problem by just watching what I eat, trying to stay away from anything that has too much sugar and setting a daily calorie count for myself which will help me lose weight, this is done by using either my Jawbone UP app which lets me input the food I’ve consumed which will then display all kind of information about your nutrition, what I am eating to much of and what I need to eat more as well as using the MyFitnessPal app which also does that same as the Jawbone UP but what sets MyFitnessPal is that the library is much bigger and the app could easily tag the food using the food’s barcode.
Another thing that I needed to add to my daily consumption of food was adding protein, working out means you need protein so your body can build up on that so I began drinking a protein shake right after the gym which I picked up from GNC.
Sleeping hasn’t changed much, I usually sleep around 5-6 hrs a day which my body got used to but I am still working on improving that.
Following all these things I should start to see a difference.
